lament for me
upon the edge of Egypt
where I fall
against the border
(broken; bloody; chased),
my back
unto my stolen home
made jagged rubble
running tears
from Jordan’s banks
on to the Great Sea’s shore…
Lament,
lament for me –
undone by Israel.
