I wrote a poem in February of 2016.
By the end of 2023, I had written 414 poems – not including the many that were part of larger things.
I’ve written more through 2024, and I’ll undoubtedly continue, but it just felt like the right time to do an all-so-far collection. As the foreword to the collection explains, I came close to just making it Eight Years Of Poetry seeing as it’s now August…
So here are 414 poems – Sonnet, tanka, free verse, haiku, ballad, quatrain… My short, shortish, and shorter poetry from the first seven years of my writing journey.
