So prematurely added
to a world a-fire in flames
that rain…
Reigning o’er,
the wicked hand
of exodus-enforced
entraps;
eliminates;
exterminates!
Entertaining itself,
old Israel
plays chase
to newborns,
sending them away
beyond their rightful home
into the Land Of Egypt –
open are her arms
for the refugees
born early
into genocide.
